I snapped this portrait of Synthia last night and I think it turned out really well.  Probably one of the best portraits I’ve taken of her.

I’ve had a lot of inquiries on my “Senator Barack Obama” photo over the last 5 months. A few have asked to use it for publications and some for documentary films.  I’ve attached the PDF link to my contract if anybody is interested in using one or more of my photos for publication.

Four of my images were accepted into the PhotoShelter collection today. I am going to scan a handful of my film negatives and see if some of those can get accepted as well. As of now only digital images have been submitted.

I went back to the Natural Science and Engineering Research Lab at UTD to take some pictures. We went there to snap off a few shots for a bio shot on the website. This has to be one of my favorite buildings to shoot in b+w.

Four Images Accepted into IStockphoto

•July 8, 2008 • Leave a Comment

I’m branching out trying to find other forms of income with photography. Following my trip to Turks I submitted 8 photos to be accepted into iStockphoto’s library. Four of the photos were accepted. Submitting photos for stock photography is going to force me to learn more and refine my skills as a photographer which I’m definitely excited about it.
